A swarm of bees

These photos were taken at the same time as those from the last post, so way back in Autumn. I was walking down the wonderfully wide streets of my new neighbourhood and I saw this stunning lavender plant. It was huge and had been planted on the side of the footpath. As I wandered past and started snapping I could hear a slight buzzing and found a family of bees quite happily going about their day jobs. They were quite peaceful and I couldn't resist taking a few photos of them.
