What a wonderful day

We had the loveliest sunny day here in Adelaide today. It felt almost like Spring was just around the corner. The sun actually had an iota of warmth to it and the wind wasn't anywhere near as chilly as it has been. I always feel much more inspired when it's wonderful weather, particular sunshine days. So I decided today was the day that I'd take some more photos (I've been feeling quite uninspired lately as everything feels a bit dull and wintery, which is just me whingeing really!) and it felt like as soon as I took that first step out the door the sun decided it would be fun to play hide and seek. Well, more hide than seek. I decided to wander around for a bit anyway, and took a few quick snaps around the neighbourhood (as I have in the past). And when I got home? The sun cheekily peeked out from behind some clouds. Oh well, it shall soon be Spring and I'll get my fill of warm rays and sun-drenched photos I'm sure. Until then, here's the photos I took today.

Lucky numbers

Just some signs, numbers and letters that caught my eye when I've been out and about in the last few months. They're from all over the place.

Typography love

So as you can see the title was a little bit of a lie, as these photos are less typography and more signage but it's still the same gist in my book. Plus, I haven't done a post on typography or numbers or signage for what feels like an eon, so I felt like it was well overdue. As I said earlier, I've been going back through my photos and I almost feel a tad overwhelmed because there's so many photos I want to post up. I've been making a list and it just keeps growing and growing - it's getting a bit out of hand! So expect a lot of posts in the next few days/weeks, especially considering I've finished uni for the semester so I have a couple of weeks before my internship starts so I'm gonna have a lot of free time on my hands to blog! Back to this post though and just as a side note, the photos are from all over the place. The first is from Bute, the last is from France and the rest are from everywhere in between!

First Days

These are some of the first photos I took with my new camera. I was staying with my sister and they were taken around her old neighbourhood (she's since moved) and there's no real order or category for them. They're all random and unrelated photos, but shots that I love for some reason or other. Probably because they remind me of that feeling of having something so new and getting something that you absolutely adore for your birthday. Plus, these photos were taken in Summer, which I'm missing dreadfully at the moment!

Numbers

I have a bit of a love of typography and especially those relating to numbers. So far I've only snapped a few number photos but I'm hoping to glimpse a few more through the lens in coming weeks.
