Summer love
These photos were taken over Christmas when I was back at my parents house in the country. I took a plethora of photos on the trip which was quite lucky considering I've been rather slack with taking photos of late. Especially using my DSLR. I've been taking a break from the digital age and slipping back in time with some rather new acquisitions that I've been enjoying getting to know. Over Christmas I made the bold decision to jump on the Diana Lomo bandwagon and haven't looked back. My sister also gave me a Lomo ActionSampler for Christmas and it has proved to be a most faithful companion. It's easy to use and has the best results. Film seems to be endlessly rewarding and I promise to post all of my film adventures on here once I develop them. But for now, please enjoy these rather belated Christmas photos.

Christmas delights
Who doesn't love getting presents? Christmas is a stressful time of year. What with organising everyone's presents, getting time off work, travelling and then it's all over so quickly. But it's still a glorious day while it lasts. All the present-giving and receiving, the food and getting to spend time with family. I was very spoilt this year for Christmas. I got lots of wonderful gifts including a hat stand, a lomo action sampler camera, some lovely jewellery and the most amazing jewellery stand! So here's a sneak peek at all the lovely goodies I got, plus a few of the extra bits and bobs floating around my room at the moment.

The season to be jolly
I've been so incredibly idle with my posts, but I promise to make up for it over the next month or so. I've been back home over Christmas, for about ten days so there was ample opportunity for me to snap away to my hearts content. It was lovely. Plus, I adore the weather at this time of year with all the sunshine and blue skies. I find it endlessly inspiring and it means my camera(s) rarely leave my side, which I'm sure my family can well and truly attest to. My amazing sister gave me a Lomo Action Sampler for Christmas which I've been testing out. I'm yet to develop or even use the first roll of film, so the results shall definitely be interesting and I'm sure they'll be featuring on here in the not so distant future. And my very own Diana+ camera is on its way to my doorstep and shall be trialled and adored as soon as I get my hands on it, with the photos put up here in due time. But anyway, I digress. Here is a bit of a snapshot of my last couple of weeks. A happy New Year to all.
