Drought

Australia has been living with the reality of an extremely harsh and prolonged drought for over a decade now. South Australia is the driest state in Australia and Australia is the driest continent in the world. So you can imagine that the consequences are being felt, around Australia but especially in SA. To me, this photo sums up the whole struggle. The whole expanse shown in this photo used to be covered with water, now there's just cracked red dirt and dead trees.
