A bloom of hope

This flower caught my eye when I was wondering through the Mt Lofty Botanical Gardens last month. Amongst the mass of wilting trees and receding leaves it was a lovely surprise to see such a small glimmer of hope amongst the onset of winter. It gave me hope that sunny days will once again return to warm up my world.
