Please keep to pathways

Today I went for a brief jaunt around the Mt Lofty Botanical Gardens. There was a slight chill in the air, but the sun was shining and I was surrounded by beautiful flowers and the most stunning colour schemes. And the view wasn't exactly hard to look at. A splendid Autumn day really.

Daffodils

These are some more photos from the Mt Lofty Botanical Gardens when I went there back in Autumn. I took hundreds of photos there, so there'll be a backlog of them for awhile which I'll post spradically every now and again. It was such a wonderful day, wandering around the leaf-strewn paths and getting to photograph such vibrant flowers and plants, most of which are native to Australia.

Beautiful berries

These beautifully vibrant red berries were growing in the Mt Lofty Botanical Gardens. I took these photos back in Autumn, so a few months ago now. It was a nice surprise to see such lovely berries growing so freely. There was also mistletoe growing in the gardens, which I've never seen growing wild before. It was a journey of discovery around a garden of wonder.

Orange haze

These were taken awhile ago at the Mount Lofty Botanical Gardens in the Adelaide Hills. I'm not sure what the plant/tree is called, but it's quite stunning in the most colourful of seasons - Autumn.

Wild daisies

I saw these beautiful wild daisies when I was traipsing through the Mt Lofty Botanical Gardens about a month ago now. I love daisies, they're one of my favourite flowers and always seem to remind me of the 60's and the Mod look and who could forget lovely daisy chains and headbands?!
