One fine October day

This long weekend, my sister and I went to visit my Nanna down on the Yorke Peninsula. She lives in the quaintest little house, and I just love wandering around while she tells us stories of days gone by. Her garden is always full of life and vibrant colours. These are just a few photos of the many I took while we were there.

Wild daisies

I saw these beautiful wild daisies when I was traipsing through the Mt Lofty Botanical Gardens about a month ago now. I love daisies, they're one of my favourite flowers and always seem to remind me of the 60's and the Mod look and who could forget lovely daisy chains and headbands?!

Just some pretty purple daisies that were in bloom last spring. I'm trying to inject some colour and sunshine into my days now that they're shifting towards the dreary, grey and cold kinds of days. I always get a bit nostalgic for spring and summer days when autumn and winter roll around.
