Sunshine and clouds and everything proud.
When I was home over Christmas, my parents were kind enough to take me, my sister and her girlfriend up river on a glorious summer day. The sun was shining and it was a wonderfully hot afternoon. Perfect for swimming in the river, which is remarkably different from last time I was there, given there's a lot more water in there at the moment. No matter how much it invariably changes though, I still think it's quite possibly the most relaxing way to spend lazy summer afternoons.

River reeds & trees
When I was home last my sister, my Dad and I wandered down to the river and I took some photos of the reeds and trees that line the riverbank. They're beautiful in their own right and the sight of the winding trajectory of the river will always calms me and remind me of the simple beauty in life.

The Mighty Murray
If anyone listens to Triple J (an Australian radio station) and in particular, listen to their Hack program you will have heard them talking about the Murray Darling. Well I grew up on the Mighty Murray and these are some photos of the beautiful landscapes around the River. These were actually taken in Red Cliffs (Victoria).
