My sister's girlfriend inspired me to take some of these shadow photos, she's taken some absolutely amazing ones around the city. So this was my attempt at photographing some shadows around my new digs.

Shadows of a cloudy day

These photos were taken a few weeks ago when it was still Autumn. I'm not sure I ever thought I'd been wishing it was Autumn but when you're in the midst of continual dreary and cold days, Autumn seems like sunshiny heaven. But enough complaining, there was a speck of sun peeking through a dense mass of clouds on this particular day and so I figured it was the perfect opportunity for a stroll and some photos of this beautiful tree and it's strange flowers or pods.
