The Silver City

I know, a bit of an overload of pictures! But it's been awhile between drinks so I thought I'd make up for the lack of pictures. Broken Hill is a truly iconic Australian country town. Both my parents grew up there. It's a town in western NSW in Australia. It's a dry and isolated but I love the desert feel and the beautiful Australian red dirt. It's most famous as the birthplace of multi-national corporation BHP. But more than that for me it's famous for it's art and community and earthy vibe.
