Homegrown

I was at home briefly this past weekend and managed to get a few more shots around my parent's place. It's always nice to see plants flowering and fruit growing despite the harshness and drabness of wintery days. It gets especially chilly at home (by Australian standards) because it gets desert-type temperatures. So it gets really quite cold overnight (into the minuses) but warms up considerably during the day, normally getting up to the high teens which is absolutely lovely in winter. So I enjoyed the feeling of sunshine, no matter how lukewarm it was. It made for a great change. So here's some photos of chilis and capsicums that my parents are growing at the moment.
